GRAND FORKS, N.D. Christina Brown, a third-year medical student at the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences, has been named an American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation Minority Scholar. She is one of only ten medical students in the country to receive the award, which includes a $10,000 scholarship.
The award is given in recognition of Browns excellence as a medical student and outstanding promise for a future career in medicine.
