LEXINGTON, Mass. -- NitroMed, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTMD) a developer of nitric oxide enhancing medicines, including BiDil(R) (isosorbide dinitrate/hydralazine hydrochloride), today reported financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2005.
Total revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2005 was $0.4 million compared to $2.3 million for the three months ended June 30, 2004, a decrease of $1.9 million, or 83%. For the six months ended June 30, 2005 revenue totaled $0.8 million compared to $4.7 million for the six months ended June 30, 2004, a decrease of $3.9 million, or 83%.
