The Millennium Stadium will continue in its role as the temporary home of the English football's showpiece events, and could still host the 2006 FA Cup final, it has been revealed. Reported delays in the construction of the new Wembley mean the home of Welsh rugby has been placed on alert to host the 2006 Cup final, which had previously been earmarked as the first major event to be held in England's new flagship stadium.
