According to anba: Brazil is investing in technology to improve the quality of the leather produced in the country. The state of Mato Grosso do Sul, in midwestern Brazil, is already building the Centre of Leather Technology (CTC), to include five laboratories for research and treatment of the product. "It is a school-laboratory to improve the quality of the leather and the animal hides," stated Edson Esp?ndola Cardoso, the technical coordinator of the CTC.
