WCBS relaunches its web site on Tuesday, and has tapped assistant news director Phil O'Brien to run the redesigned site, which has a new address, WCBSTV.com. The site boasts improved video capabilities and reporter blogs and will provide traffic and weather e-mail alerts, among other customized features for visitors. "When there's a big news story, we don't have to wait till 5 o'clock anymore,'' says Mr. O'Brien, now executive editor.
