Scratching some fleas during the dog days:
- This question seems to be asked at least 100 times a season: Who is the leader of the White Sox?
In the 12 years I've been covering the Sox, they've never had a "leader" per se. In major-league baseball, the season is simply way too long to even expect a guy to be rah-rah from the start of April to the end of September.
The leader should be the manager, and the White Sox have a great one in Ozzie Guillen.
