OCEANFRONT - "Ugly" isn't a word that comes to mind when talking about volunteers.
But when the teens in the "I'm with Big Ugly" T-shirts arrived in Virginia Beach last week, something quite the opposite was about to happen.
They helped make this city more beautiful - or, at least, cleaner.
Young people from the Appalachian Teen Leaders training program in Harts, W. Va., worked through sweltering temperatures to make the most of a volunteer-driven visit to the Oceanfront.
