Ms Cornelia Kausch, until recently general manager of the five-star Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest, Hungary, has been appointed Chairperson of IHI Hungary Rt., the hotel's owning company. IHI Hungary Rt. is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of International Hotel Investments plc (IHI), a public entity in which leading Maltese hotel company Corinthia Group holds a majority interest. IHI was incorporated within the Corinthia Group to develop and invest in upscale hotels in various countries in Europe and the Mediterranean region.
