DALLAS -- Exxon Mobil Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Lee R. Raymond will retire at the end of this year from the world's largest publicly traded oil company, the company said Thursday.
The company said the board of directors expects to name company President Rex W. Tillerson, 53, as Raymond's successor in both posts. The change is part of the board's succession plan developed years ago, the company said.
