NEW YORK, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Moms will be giving their credit cards some exercise as they get ready to send their kids back to school this year. They are smart shoppers and they are spending big, according to a new survey conducted by ClubMom (http://www.clubmom.com/), the free national membership organization for moms. Most moms (72%) are spending up to $300 per child on their back-to-school items including clothes, notebooks, backpacks, lunchboxes, and other must-haves. Twenty-four percent of moms will spend $300 or more per child.
