MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Landec Corporation (Nasdaq:LNDC), a developer and marketer of technology-based polymer products for food, agricultural and licensed partner applications, reported that its agricultural seed subsidiary, Landec Ag, Inc., is demonstrating on a full commercial scale the value of their Intellicoat(R) Early Plant coated seeds. During this year's planting season, when cold, wet spring weather and crusty soil conditions forced farmers to replant much more of their corn than normal, the Intellicoat Early Plant coated seed technology has demonstrated its ability to protect crops against inclement conditions.
