WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Just days after launching iTunes Music Store in Japan, Apple proudly reported its customers had downloaded 1 million songs.
While iTunes Japan features the libraries of 15 record labels such as Toshiba-EMI, Universal, and Avex, musicians under contract with Sony have been unable to get their music on Apple's popular download service.
That may change soon as at least one artist has already gone against his label to offer his songs on iTunes.
