CHICAGO -- Ocean Tomo, LLC, a merchant banking firm focusing on intellectual property assets, has announced the first investment fund to provide private equity capital and mezzanine debt to companies with undervalued Intellectual Property ("IP") rights, including patents and trademarks. Perot Investments, Inc., a Dallas investment company founded by Ross Perot, is the principal investor in the $200 million fund. Ocean Tomo, which is managing the fund, also is an investor.
