Aug. 10--LINCOLN -- It's easy to tell exactly where Great Road resident Bernie Harwood parks his car. Just look for the dips in his asphalt driveway -- one for each tire.
"This is all mush under here," Harwood said yesterday, his foot ankle-deep in one of the dips. "There's no support."
There's no question that the area around Great Road has drainage problems. Residents tell horror stories of baby pictures ruined by basement flooding and sump pumps that operate 365 days a year.
Some residents say recent development in the area has made things worse, sending additional runoff onto their already-wet properties.
