Thursday's Learn to Work column about athletic trainers contained several errors. Athletic trainers must be certified by the Board of Certification, www.bocatc.org , not the National Athletic Trainers Association. NATA is the professional association for certified athletic trainers.
A professional internship is not required.
The requirements for certification in New York were incomplete. New York certified athletic trainers have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an athletic training or other program registered or accepted by the state ...
