ATTACKS ON POLISH DIPLOMATS HAVE HAD POLITICAL IMPACT - AMBASSADOR
MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - Attacks on Polish diplomats in Russia and on Russian diplomats' children in Poland have had certain political consequences, said Polish Ambassador to Russia Stefan Meller.
"The beatings themselves have no political content and are tragic incidents staged by criminal elements, but they are evolving into para-politics against our will," Meller told Interfax after handing in a note of protest to and talking with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak on Thursday.
