Aug. 11--How many people visit the Lehigh Valley each year? How much do they spend here? What brings them here?
Michael Stershic, president of the Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, answered those questions and more as the guest speaker Wednesday at a Bethlehem Rotary Club meeting. As the Valley's top tourism official, he was speaking in an apt place: The meeting was held at Musikfest, the 10-day music festival in Bethlehem that is the area's No. 2 biggest tourist attraction. (Dorney Park, the South Whitehall Township amusement park, is No. 1).
