SINGAPORE'S OCBC BANK BOOKS 9% RISE IN H1 NET PROFIT
SINGAPORE - Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC Bank) (SGX:O04) booked a 9 per cent on-year rise in half year net profit despite slower earnings growth in the second quarter.
Net profit in the first half reached S$602 million (US$365 million), although second quarter net profit rose just 1 per cent on-year to S$304 million.
