Who ate all the nuts? Squirrel squeezes into bird feeder for a feast - and ends up too fat to get out.

SUPPLE and svelte, the squirrel slipped into his favourite eaterie to enjoy a free lunch.

With remarkable agility, he managed to squeeze through the narrow metal mesh of a 'squirrel-proof' bird feeder and feast on the nuts inside.

However, even for a squirrel, gluttony can be a deadly sin. After eating much more than his fill, he tried to squeeze out again - but his once-slinky stomach was so swollen with nuts that it became wedged between the bars.
