Another book on Dante, but this time one that is different. Recasting a number of previously published pieces, one of Italy's leading Dantisti, Emilio Pasquini, has written a coherent volume which eschews academic jargon and footnotes, and limits references to a selective but up-to-date bibliography at the end of each of the nine chapters of the work.
