Contingency Contracting Company Papa of Supply Support Battalion Two (CCC SSB2 P) was established in October 2004 with CAPT Tom Madison as Company Commander. The unit was created to provide a cadre of certified contracting officers to support global contingency contracting operations. CAPT Madison urged unit members who were qualified to DAWIA Level I or higher in contracting to seek an Annual Training (AT) assignment that involved contingency contracting in locations as remote as possible.
