Aug. 16--GF, SAA COOPERATION: Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines are extending their code share agreement. It now covers all flights between Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Muscat airports, and King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. The two carriers are also discussing more international destinations and frequent flyer privileges.
GULF AIR, PIA PACT: Gulf Air and Pakistan International Airlines are working towards an alliance which could lead to a formal code share agreement. Gulf Air president James Hogan and PIA chairman Tariq Kirmani met to discuss future areas of cooperation including synchronising schedules over both the airline's main hubs.
