The weight of an eight ball of crack cocaine was incorrectly reported Tuesday in a story about an alleged drug ring based in Utica. An eight ball is one-eighth of an ounce, not eight ounces.

Nancy Booth says she has never talked over the phone about her nephew needing a cookie - or for that matter an eight-ball of crack cocaine.

"I never in my life made a cookie," Booth said in a phone interview Sunday from her home in Utica. "I made cakes once in a while but never no cookies."
