Anglers love them because bass hate them. That's why salamanders are the best early spring baits.
First, the good news. There's a bass lure on the market that could challenge the spinnerbait, jig 'n pig and rattling crankbait as the best early spring bass lure, and it's no slouch the rest of the year. So what's the bad news?
