Where's the best place to shoot a moose?
It depends, I guess, on your point of view. Most hunters will argue for the heart/lung area. A marksman might vote for the neck shot. A pragmatist might say that either is OK, as long as the moose is close to easy transportation.
In my opinion, however, the best place to shoot a moose--and a woodland caribou and a big black bear--is the island of Newfoundland, off the eastern coast of Canada. Just a short flight by commercial airlines from major Northeastern cities, Newfoundland offers, by far, the best mixed-bag big-game hunting in the East!
