SEBASTIAN Conran is in his garden, tearing at a tangle of weeds. He is surrounded by greenery: exotic ferns, magnolia, fig and lilac trees. A white rose has rambled into the pear tree, crab apples litter the lawn around a table and chairs. Trailing foliage, to form an arch, adds to the intimacy.
