Aug. 16--"Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. I am your host. Your ghost host . . . There's no turning back now."
With that ghoulish greeting, guests at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., are led into a plantation-style mansion where the black draperies and wreath from some long-ago funeral flap gently in the breeze.
Soon, the entire room plunges into total darkness.
