Proud new mother Alison Jones has spoken of her 'miracle baby' Elin - created by scientists more than two years ago. The 34-year-old feared she would never have children after she developed leukaemia and had chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
But IVF experts were able to fertilise one of Alison's eggs which was then frozen for two years until she was well enough to carry a baby.
Elin, born six weeks ago, was two months premature and has just been allowed home for the first time.
