Underrepresented Officers Choose Teamsters

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Metro Nashville police officers today announced their intentions to have representation by the Teamsters. Earlier in the week, police officers discovered that the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), their current representative, had entered into a stealth deal with the city. In addition, Teamsters Local 327 also announced that they will file a lawsuit on behalf of Metro Officers returning from tours in military service.
