The President's Task Force on National Health Care Reform was eagerly seeking advice from several organizations with a stake in revamping the nation's health care system even before a Federal District Judge ruled that some meetings held by the task force be open to the public, say sources close to the process. (See story, page 1.)
Other sources, however, say the solicitations from the task force have been merely a smokescreen since the core clement of the plan is shaping up to be managed competition.
