Aug. 20--A taxi company is at odds with Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport over rules governing cabs at Lovell Field.
"We show up at the airport now and a guard is there making it uncomfortable," said Tim Duckett, Millennium Taxi Service's chief executive. "We've had interference."
He said the company is trying to fulfill a verbal contract with Delta Connection carriers to pick up customers, but the airport is hindering its drivers from doing so.
Mr. Duckett said Delta summons the cab company when one of its carriers cancels a flight and it's not cost effective for the airline to take them to another airport to fly.
