A AROUND 10am in early April a couple of years back, I found myself skiing in a T- shirt in Cyprus's Troodos mountains. At 2pm the same day, I was chasing my children across a beach on the south coast before plunging into the sea.
No, really - I know you've heard such tall stories before but in this case it's the honest to goodness truth. Admittedly, the snow was pretty mushy but the fact I was skiing at all felt like an enormous bonus on an island that never ceases to surprise.
