Linux security higher than other platforms recent study reveals.

Red Hat, Inc., a provider of open source solutions to the enterprise, today announced that Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscribers were less susceptible to network security holes than users of other platforms according to a recently published report by the SANS Institute. The report identified the top twenty Internet security vulnerabilities. Of the twenty, only two affected Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscribers, for which Red Hat has already issued patches via Red Hat Network.
