A problem plaguing all anti-spam solutions to some degree is the issue of falsely filtered messages.
Wanted email messages such as newsletters and sales receipts often contain many elements in common with spam messages. Embedded images, "unsubscribe" notices and multiple recipients can cause spam filters to inaccurately tag a message as being spam.
The anti-spam software provider, SpamButcher (http://www.spambutcher.com) is working to provide a solution to this issue.
Anticipated Sender would help address this problem by providing a standardized way of telling a user's spam filter that an email sender is validated as being legitimate.
