In this season of major changes for Oregon football, the Ducks have even made a drastic alteration to their practice routine.
No more is there extensive conditioning at the end of a workout. Now it comes at the start.
What a warmup. Up-downs, sprints ... before the first football drill.
`At first, I hated it,' senior defensive end Devan Long said. His initial reason was that `I'm just getting out here and I don't want to run right away because your body takes a while to understand what's going on.
`Now that I'm accustomed to it, I like it.'
