Aug. 23--LEESBURG -- Another chain restaurant could be coming to the U.S. Highway 441 corridor near Lake Square Mall.
On Monday, city commissioners said they would be willing to sell city-owned land at the southeast corner of College Drive and U.S. 441 to the owner of the Village Inn restaurant chain. If the restaurant is built, Village Inn would join several other nearby chain restaurants including Ruby Tuesday, Red Lobster, Chili's and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
