Aug. 23--The issue of public notification is becoming increasingly taxing for a Leon County advisory board commissioned to give recommendations on how to spend $1 million in health-care tax revenues.
Two weeks ago, the Primary Health-care Implementation Board voted by secret ballot to give the money to Tallahassee Community College to help build a teaching facility and clinic.
But based on the county attorney's advice, that vote was deemed invalid and a meeting was scheduled for Monday to take a public vote.
But the much-anticipated revote was canceled.
Why?
