Chocolate cake.
Those two words are enough to bring a smile to your face, make your mouth water and your taste buds tingle in anticipation of that first rich, flavorful bite.
Earlier this year Wegmans held an "Ultimate Chocolate Cake" recipe contest for employees. The winning recipe is now a trade secret. After the contest, readers called, e-mailed and faxed asking for the winning recipe.
A perfect chocolate cake is in the eye of the beholder. It has to taste good, look good, be moist enough to hold together when cut and make you say "mmmm, good" with the first sampling.
