Jiangsu Province adds new steel industry guidelines because of new national policy

Shanghai. August 26. INTERFAX-CHINA - Eastern China's Jiangsu Province recently raised the bar for where steel companies can build in southern and central areas to help protect its agricultural base.

The provincial government raised the steel industry entrance standardization in southern and central areas Wednesday because of the newly-released national steel development policy, according to the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission.
