When Brahms doesn't dominate a chamber music program, something has surely gone amiss. Thursday's Skaneateles Festival concert proved to be a mixed bag, artistically speaking - its highlight coming at the very beginning with an outstanding performance by the Pacifica Quartet of Mendelssohn's "String Quartet No. 1."
