Rep. Francis "Blueboy" L. Nepomuceno (1st District, Pampanga) lauded the movie "The Great Raid" which he rightly described as Cesar Montano's baptism of fire in Hollywood.
The Central Luzon lawmaker is just one of the many Filipinos who have expressed pride in Cesar's participation in the movie which translated on film the rescue of about 500 American soldiers held Prisoners of War by the Japanese in a camp in Cabanatuan City during the last World War. The elite group which did the "great raid" was led by Benjamin Bratt's character. Cesar's character, guerrilla leader Juan Pajota aided the group in successfully rescuing the American POW.
