Said Mous, a 25-year-old Moroccan, arrived in Equatorial Guinea four years ago and is now an established name in Malabo. He first came to the country with a Moroccan wholesale clothing company. The company decided to pull out of Equatorial Guinea in 2001 but Said, who had worked in both Bata and Malabo, was not prepared to leave. "Somehow," he says with his usual smile and a glint in his eye, "I sensed there were good opportunities for me here."
