Manufacturers that apply ceramic glazes and porcelain enamels to their products through spraying are well aware of the drawbacks that often accompany conventional spraying equipment. The high-humidity spray environment is corrosive and the abrasiveness of glaze and enamel materials can accelerate equipment wear. Additionally, the equipment is susceptible to contamination and must be cleaned frequently, and excessive overspray and dust contamination are common problems.
