Cecil Cooper's going to die a happy man.
He's 80 and fit. When we met four years ago, Cecil said to me "If I get this, my life would be complete. I could die a happy man."
Saturday this Syracusan and World War II and Korean War veteran saw his vision made real: We dedicated the Onondaga County World War II Minority Veterans Wall of Honor in the lobby of the Oncenter.
Cecil helped unveil the big slab of black marble etched with more than 200 names, including "Cecil Chester Cooper/USN."
