ORANGEBURG, N.Y., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Hundreds of children who call New York City family shelters their homes will go back to school this year with fond memories of a day spent at Yankee Stadium, thanks to Verizon Wireless.
The official wireless provider of the New York Yankees, Verizon Wireless donated more than 200 of the company's tickets to Safe Horizon and The Hispanic Committee for Children and Families, to distribute to families affected by domestic violence.
