Aug. 31--What better way for The History Channel to promote its new documentary, "Rome: Engineering and Empire," and sweepstakes, than to connect with 1,000 independent pizza shops across the county, including four in lower Fairfield County.
The History Channel's marketing representative, NMA Entertainment and Marketing in New York, found Mississippi-based PMQ magazine and its data bank of 43,000 independent pizzerias, including Tom E Toes Restaurant in Wilton and Planet Pizza restaurants in Stamford, Westport and Greenwich.
