The Swedish industrial group Atlas Copco said on Wednesday (31 August) that it had decided to invest SEK44m in increasing the manufacturing capacity at its facilities in Nasik and Pune in India.

The investments in Nasik include new assembly units for surface drilling rigs and the modernisation of the hand-held construction tools facility. In Pune the investment involves the modernisation of the compressor production facility.
