CAMP HILL, Pa. -- Starting Friday Customers Can Donate Funds at Rite Aid's 3,300 Stores Nationwide By Purchasing $1 Hurricane Relief Certificates
Rite Aid (NYSE, PCX:RAD) today announced a chain wide program to help the victims, families and communities affected by the Hurricane Katrina devastation in the gulf coast states. The Rite Aid Foundation will make a $250,000 donation to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and, in addition, Rite Aid will work closely with the American Red Cross as they assess need over time to donate supplies, food and water.
