Article: Milo Marathon goes to Butuan.(Sports)

THE 29TH National Milo Marathon makes its last stop in Mindanao on Sunday for its Caraga Region elimination run in Butuan City.

Expected to clash for the top purse of P10,000 in the 21K qualifying race are defending champion Genovevo Azarcon Jr and 2003 leg winner Jonard Comonong.

More than 4,000 runners are expected to join this foot race here held in partnership nationwide with Bayview Park Hotel, Cebu Pacific, Adidas, Smart Kid, Department of Tourism, Addict Mobile Prepaid and Powerbar.

Most of the participants on Sunday, however, are in the 5K fun run and the Kiddies 3K age-group event.
