Absurd cold-war security classifications are hurting American enterprises and ideas
It has taken only three years, two committee studies, a 300-page report, an interagency review, negotiations with the National Security Council and consultation with allies - but if Energy Secretary Hazel O'Leary approves the recommendation forwarded to her office last week, Prof. Robert McCrory says, it will all have been worthwhile. For the first time, he'll actually be able to go to a scientific conference and say something other than "no comment."
